Meet Sarah Bennett, LMHP, LCSW
Hello, I'm the therapist behind Hello Hope Counseling.
Helping others has always been a natural part of who I am. Compassion, connection, and truly seeing people are some of my greatest strengths. Becoming a social worker and therapist felt like a meaningful way to use those gifts to support others through the challenges and transitions of life.
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel understood, seen, and accepted for who they are. My hope is that when you step into therapy, you can begin to feel at ease, let down your guard, and take a break from having to pretend that everything is okay. Even if it's only for an hour, I want you to have a place where you can show up as yourself.
As a Master of Social Work and trauma-informed therapist, I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I have a particular interest in complex childhood trauma and how our past experiences can shape our self-worth, relationships, emotional responses, and sense of identity.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work toward greater self-understanding, self-trust, clarity, and hope.
A Little About Me
Outside of therapy, music is a big part of my life. I believe music can be a meaningful source of comfort, coping, and self-expression, and I often encourage clients to explore how it can support their own well-being.
In my free time, you'll find me enjoying a variety of things, from hiking, reading, and traveling to spending time with my family. Sometimes, though, the best way to recharge is simply to relax, slow down, and do absolutely nothing for a while.
Your story matters, and you don't have to tell it alone.
